The coaching staff of Serbia y Mantonegro protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Albano Nayely had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Albano Nayely hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Alfonso Peruanton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricky Centurión in the 18th minute of the match. Informaniaticos were furious when Paolo Valente was red carded, 21 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 20th minute of the game. One of Informaniaticos:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Serbia y Mantonegro:s goal. Informaniaticos:s Alfonso Peruanton showed great skill when he stopped Besart Chotard:s penalty. In the 22nd minute, Besart Chotard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfonso Peruanton was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Alfonso Peruanton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Laspada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romeo Peruxu kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Mauro Laspada kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Serbia y Mantonegro's Astor Belarmo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Serbia y Mantonegro from getting a goal against them. Besart Chotard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricky Centurión in the 39th minute of play forced Informaniaticos's goalkeeper Alfonso Peruanton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serafino Sal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Astor Belarmo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. If Ricky Centurión had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ricky Centurión stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gerardo Malvin kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. 54 minutes into the game, Informaniaticos's Romeo Peruxu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Astor Belarmo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. 57 minutes into the match, Serbia y Mantonegro's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Bordat came free, but Astor Belarmo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Informaniaticos's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Serafino Sal in the 59th minute. A nice corner shot did that Serafino Sal got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Astor Belarmo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 62nd minute, Ricky Centurión hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 66 minutes had been played when some careless play by Informaniaticos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Besart Chotard was slow to take the kick. During this time Serbia y Mantonegro's players had a chance to rest. Gabriel Bizi was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. A collision led to Informaniaticos getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Fidel Elequemedo hit a great ball. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Informaniaticos's goalkeeper Alfonso Peruanton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 70 played minutes Informaniaticos got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Naldo. Astor Belarmo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Bordat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Bordat in the 79th minute of play forced Serbia y Mantonegro's goalkeeper Astor Belarmo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Informaniaticos's zone, Ricky Centurión stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfonso Peruanton came out of the goal and Ricky Centurión tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfonso Peruanton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricky Centurión, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Informaniaticos's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Serafino Sal in the 92nd minute. Informaniaticos's Serafino Sal was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Astor Belarmo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 93 minutes into the match, Informaniaticos's Gabriel Bordat sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Astor Belarmo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Ricky Centurión came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Serbia y Mantonegro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricky Centurión couldn't finish the play. Serbia y Mantonegro played a much better game than Informaniaticos and deserved their victory. The Informaniaticos players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
