After 17 played minutes, Liquid Spirit's Gogo Fortun shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Conrado Innocenzio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Liquid Spirit reached it. After a rather tough play, FIORITO CITY's Ladislao Jeraldo got a free kick in the 18th minute. Conrado Innocenzio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Virila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Conrado Innocenzio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Gilabert in the 20th minute of play. After 26 minutes, Epifanio Eladio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Liquid Spirit and the FIORITO CITY players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 26 played minutes Liquid Spirit got a freekick which was hit by Epifanio Eladio. 31 minutes into the match, FIORITO CITY's goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Gartxot came free, but Conrado Innocenzio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cleto Maxin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Pacorro, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. With an all-out effort, Liquid Spirit's Conrado Innocenzio threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Reynaldo Gartxot, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 46th match minute, Liquid Spirit was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reynaldo Gartxot to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benjamin Virila was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Liquid Spirit's goalkeeper Cleto Maxin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damaso Ignazio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Virila in the 55th minute of play forced FIORITO CITY's goalkeeper Conrado Innocenzio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cleto Maxin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hugo Demesio in the 56th minute. In the 59th match minute, FIORITO CITY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabricio Qwinton to maneuver through the defense. Gaspar Favila hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. When Gogo Fortun came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Liquid Spirit fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gogo Fortun couldn't finish the play. Liquid Spirit's Benjamin Virila got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Conrado Innocenzio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Gilabert in the 74th minute of the match. A collision led to Liquid Spirit getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Gavino Tonio hit a great ball. Ladislao Jeraldo kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The FIORITO CITY players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
