A sloppy throw-in by Momir Gisic in the 3rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Saint Côme de Fresné's Darren Mignot. Davy Poirrier scored 1-0 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zvezdan Nedeljkovic, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Borjan Golubovic kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Serbia's goalkeeper Zvezdan Nedeljkovic had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Davy Poirrier. 16 minutes into the match, Serbia's goal looked a bit too open when Davy Poirrier came free, but Zvezdan Nedeljkovic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 17 minutes, Pascal Pont mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saint Côme de Fresné and the Serbia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pascal Pont kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Sreten Popovic got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 21 minutes, Yannick Bach mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saint Côme de Fresné and the Serbia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sreten Popovic recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 29 minutes, Drasko Rajkovic mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Serbia and the Saint Côme de Fresné players grew even worse after the yellow card. Drasko Rajkovic hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Erwin Jury received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The throw-in from Cyril Jardin in the 46th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Serbia's Borjan Golubovic. After some careless play in the Saint Côme de Fresné defense, Sreten Popovic kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gameiro Lenoble. The Saint Côme de Fresné fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gameiro Lenoble should have stopped the shot. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Davy Poirrier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sreten Popovic got free with Gameiro Lenoble in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Serbia's Zvezdan Nedeljkovic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davy Poirrier in the 55th minute of play. A collision led to Saint Côme de Fresné getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Luc Boulogne hit a great ball. Darren Mignot's late challenge caught a Serbia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Darren Mignot helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Serbia booed when Saint Côme de Fresné was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yannick Bach didn't get a good kick on the ball. Davy Poirrier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Mathieu Guiton fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saint Côme de Fresné's protests and gave Mathieu Guiton a yellow card for diving instead. In the 81st match minute, Saint Côme de Fresné was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathieu Guiton to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Serbia getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Cvijetin Nanusevski hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erwin Jury in the 88th minute of play forced Serbia's goalkeeper Zvezdan Nedeljkovic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Borjan Golubovic's late challenge caught a Saint Côme de Fresné's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Borjan Golubovic helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Serbia's Borjan Golubovic got a free kick in the 88th minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
