Daniel Cambranes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Olentzaro having to interfere. Leonides Oliviero hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the match, El Retorno de Palermo's Hilario Mikeldi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Conrado Innocenzio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the El Retorno de Palermo defense, Daniel Cambranes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Modesto Olentzaro. The El Retorno de Palermo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Modesto Olentzaro should have stopped the shot. The supporters of El Retorno de Palermo booed when FIORITO CITY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliberto Pinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Cambranes got free with Modesto Olentzaro in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 26th minute, Tobias Rios hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 28 played minutes El Retorno de Palermo got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Panfilo. With a little luck, El Retorno de Palermo's Modesto Olentzaro got control of the ball when Daniel Cambranes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benigno Endura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Modesto Olentzaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Cambranes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Modesto Olentzaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benigno Endura, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The supporters of El Retorno de Palermo booed when FIORITO CITY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabricio Qwinton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Cambranes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Olentzaro having to interfere. If Leonides Oliviero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. El Retorno de Palermo's Modesto Olentzaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Cambranes in the 71st minute of play. In the 75th minute Feliberto Pinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modesto Olentzaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardo Illart charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernardo Illart the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 80 played minutes El Retorno de Palermo got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Illart. Ambrosio Gamus struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Modesto Olentzaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FIORITO CITY. Modesto Olentzaro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Cambranes went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. El Retorno de Palermo's Modesto Olentzaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benigno Endura in the 93rd minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FIORITO CITY fully deserved thier win.
