If Isac Walmarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 6th minute Anthony Carey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Skark saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anthony Carey took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonatan Skark. Jonatan Skark dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Isac Walmarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonatan Skark showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stevie Colman, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Jonatan Skark made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anthony Carey in the 20th minute of play. Newcastle United F.C.'s Jonatan Skark played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antony Kingston in the 23rd minute of play. Eric Lundström was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 24 minutes into the match. Jonatan Skark had in the 25thth minute some difficulties stopping Anthony Carey's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 25 minutes into the game, Anthony Carey cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Jonatan Skark was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jim Sutton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaf Högström, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Stevie Colman scored 0-4 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonatan Skark, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonatan Skark showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stevie Colman, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute, Arvin Dalkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stevie Colman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonatan Skark having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Newcastle United F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Antony Kingston came free, but Jonatan Skark reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonatan Skark came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Manchester City's Stevie Colman. But to his dismay, Stevie Colman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. In the 44th minute Stevie Colman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Skark saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arvin Dalkvist hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.

The wind increased when Gustaf Högström made the kick off in the second half. Newcastle United F.C.'s Jonatan Skark played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthony Carey in the 62nd minute of play. Newcastle United F.C.'s Jonatan Skark proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Newcastle United F.C. from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Newcastle United F.C. getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Urban Jansson hit a great ball. Antony Kingston blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonatan Skark having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaf Högström in the 70th minute of play forced Manchester City's goalkeeper Jim Sutton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute, Uno Åman made a precise shot to the right of Jim Sutton. Manchester City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. The crowd rose to their feet as Anthony Carey kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonatan Skark. That made the score 1-6 in the 79 minute of play. Jim Sutton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaf Högström in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Stevie Colman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 93 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Manchester City! Jim Sutton went to the wrong direction when Uno Åman was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal.
