In the 7th minute, Marco Fabelo made a precise shot to the right of Manfred Fribäck. Norrlands Athen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Marco Fabelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manfred Fribäck having to interfere. After 19 played minutes Fae Folgore got a freekick which was hit by Jordano Bruno. 21 minutes into the match, Norrlands Athen's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Fabelo came free, but Manfred Fribäck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manfred Fribäck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João do Nascimento in the 25th minute of play. Marco Fabelo took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manfred Fribäck. Manfred Fribäck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Teobald Kociniewski came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Norrlands Athen's Måns Sandberg. But to his dismay, Måns Sandberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 34 minutes in the game Frank Berglund did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Tord Lundin. After having played for 36 minutes, Måns Sandberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Norrlands Athen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Måns Sandberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 44 played minutes Fae Folgore got a freekick which was hit by Dariusz Kluczyk. In the 45th minute, Urbano Fidencio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marco Fabelo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fae Folgore's João do Nascimento managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Zhou Xun Ting in the 52 minute of the game. Manfred Fribäck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Fabelo in the 53rd minute of play. Teobald Kociniewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Lebron in the 56th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juan Lebron in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teobald Kociniewski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Teobald Kociniewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Lebron, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Manfred Fribäck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Fabelo in the 60th minute of the match. In the 76th minute Marco Fabelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manfred Fribäck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Måns Sandberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teobald Kociniewski was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Norrlands Athen's Mathias Alrot was substituted for Urbano Fidencio. Norrlands Athen's attentive Qian Zhen Sheng managed to snatch the ball when Jordano Bruno made a throw-in in the 90th minute of the game. When Norrlands Athen's Gilbert Hermansson in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fae Folgore's goalie prevented a goal.
