The corner led Manchester City's Anthony Carey to fire away a dangerous shot which Victorino Misael despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Victorino Misael was out of position in the 13 minute of play, and Stevie Colman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Stevie Colman really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Frank Pearce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogelio Efraim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manchester City's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
