The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Laurgain Ruiz got free with Inge Tuero in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. John Herrera charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed John Herrera the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 10th match minute, Tullidos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John Herrera to maneuver through the defense. Guido Ocaña kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. If Benino Maria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute, Kornél Kormos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Cusco FC's Ismael Llantada tried to score from far away in the 16th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Inge Tuero made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Laurgain Ruiz sent off a good shot on target. Tullidos FC's Dei Torrent played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodas Alfaro in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Tullidos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benino Maria came free, but Dei Torrent reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute Laurgain Ruiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inge Tuero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tullidos FC's Dei Torrent played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elorri Uruñuela in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute of the match, Laurgain Ruiz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Inge Tuero saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 33 minutes into the match, Laurgain Ruiz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Inge Tuero. Cusco FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Laurgain Ruiz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benino Maria in the 45th minute of play forced Tullidos FC's goalkeeper Dei Torrent to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tullidos FC's Dei Torrent played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benino Maria in the 45th minute of play. Gavino Nieves hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Guido Ocaña recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Benino Maria made the kick off in the second half. Cusco FC's Inge Tuero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurgain Ruiz in the 53rd minute of play. Tullidos FC's John Herrera got his second yellow card of the match in the 56th minute. The referee ordered John Herrera off the ground. After 56 played minutes Tullidos FC got a freekick which was hit by John Herrera. Benino Maria's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dei Torrent firmly grabbed it by the left post. Tadeu Viesca hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Milian Claudio charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Milian Claudio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Cusco FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Milian Claudio hit a great ball. 64 minutes into the match, Cusco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Laurgain Ruiz came free, but Inge Tuero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 72 minutes, Javier Ibarra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tullidos FC and the Cusco FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Tullidos FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Javier Ibarra hit a great ball. Rodolfo Abecia was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 86 minutes into the match. The supporters of Cusco FC booed when Tullidos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Abecia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laurgain Ruiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The throw-in from Pudes Colillas in the 94th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Cusco FC's Gavino Nieves. Laurgain Ruiz got a throw-in 97 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Pudes Colillas. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cusco FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tullidos FC.
