In the 9th minute, Tomi Abrego hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Pascal Balboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clive Hayward charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Clive Hayward the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Anthony Carey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Rajoi having to interfere. Frank Pearce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaquiel Colsa in the 29th minute of play. Anthony Carey took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rogelio Rajoi. Rogelio Rajoi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Frank Pearce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascal Balboa in the 37th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthony Carey in the 40th minute of play forced ALPUJARRAS LIBRE's goalkeeper Rogelio Rajoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 43 minutes into the game, when Mitch Cryer put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 42nd minute of the game. One of Manchester City:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ALPUJARRAS LIBRE:s goal.

Frank Pearce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaquiel Colsa, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 52nd minute of the match, Pascal Balboa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Frank Pearce saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. ALPUJARRAS LIBRE's Rogelio Rajoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stevie Colman in the 54th minute of play. Frank Pearce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salomon Gonzáles, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After a rather tough play, ALPUJARRAS LIBRE's Paulino Canyelles got a free kick in the 56th minute. Santiago Dellasierra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stevie Colman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Rajoi having to interfere. Danny Seagrave charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Danny Seagrave the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of ALPUJARRAS LIBRE booed when Manchester City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danny Seagrave didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute Salomon Gonzáles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Pearce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antony Kingston in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rogelio Rajoi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. ALPUJARRAS LIBRE's Gaston Cayuela was substituted for Josepe Puyol. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by ALPUJARRAS LIBRE's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Anthony Carey was slow to take the kick. During this time Manchester City's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Clive Hayward almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ALPUJARRAS LIBRE's Rogelio Rajoi did a great save. Rogelio Rajoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stevie Colman in the 80th minute of the match. When Antony Kingston came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Manchester City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antony Kingston couldn't finish the play. 87 minutes into the match, Gaston Cayuela dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Frank Pearce, 2-2. Frank Pearce made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Gaston Cayuela sent off a good shot on target. In the 96th minute, Zaquiel Colsa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The ALPUJARRAS LIBRE players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Manchester City from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
