After 5 played minutes Cusco FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Rozas. Americo Mero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inge Tuero having to interfere. In the 18th minute Fabian Tiniebra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inge Tuero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gogo Fortun hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Cleto Maxin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milian Claudio in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Carlos Rozas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cusco FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Liquid Spirit the free kick. Carlos Rozas kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benino Maria during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 31 played minutes Cusco FC got a freekick which was hit by Benino Maria. In the 32nd minute, Rodas Alfaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Inge Tuero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Americo Mero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Liquid Spirit fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Liquid Spirit's Fabian Tiniebra looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 42ndth minute of the game Fabian Tiniebra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cusco FC's Inge Tuero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Milian Claudio fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cusco FC's protests and gave Milian Claudio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th minute, Milian Claudio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Americo Mero in the 48th minute of play forced Cusco FC's goalkeeper Inge Tuero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Liquid Spirit were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benino Maria made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Severo Goito left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Liquid Spirit fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After some careless play in the Cusco FC defense, Americo Mero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Inge Tuero. The Cusco FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Inge Tuero should have stopped the shot. Inge Tuero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabian Tiniebra in the 65th minute. The long shot by Paulo Gilabert in the 70th minute really tested Inge Tuero's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 72 minutes into the game, Gogo Fortun threw the ball into play from the sideline. Cusco FC's Cebrian Riera quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 72nd minute, Paulo Gilabert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute, Reynaldo Gartxot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With an all-out effort, Liquid Spirit's Inge Tuero threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fabian Tiniebra, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 91 played minutes Cusco FC got a freekick which was hit by Benino Maria. Inge Tuero was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Reynaldo Gartxot. Paulo Gilabert hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The Liquid Spirit players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
