El Retorno de Palermo's Modesto Olentzaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurgain Ruiz in the 5th minute of play. Bernardo Illart kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Laurgain Ruiz scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Modesto Olentzaro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Laurgain Ruiz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. John Herrera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Modesto Olentzaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Tullidos FC's Pudes Colillas seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Pudes Colillas the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Tullidos FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Pudes Colillas had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 21 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tullidos FC! Dei Torrent had in the 24thth minute some difficulties stopping Hilario Mikeldi's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Herrera in the 25th minute of play forced El Retorno de Palermo's goalkeeper Modesto Olentzaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dei Torrent showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Claude, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After 38 minutes of play, Tullidos FC's Guido Ocaña made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Modesto Olentzaro was left in no man's land by his defense there! A throw-in in the 43rd minute of the game was made by Bernardo Illart with Hilario Mikeldi as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Bernardo Illart made in the 45th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Nunez Walme. In the 46th match minute, El Retorno de Palermo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristo Lorencio to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Etxepare Lermo was the one to do the kick off. Guido Ocaña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of El Retorno de Palermo booed when Tullidos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. John Herrera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tullidos FC's Polo Ramos managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Nunez Walme in the 75 minute of the game. Etxepare Lermo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Olentzaro having to interfere.
