Tadeu Viesca kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Inge Tuero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anthony Carey in the 4th minute of the match. Cusco FC's Inge Tuero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthony Carey in the 13th minute of play. The supporters of Manchester City booed when Cusco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodas Alfaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Inge Tuero came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Manchester City's Anthony Carey. But to his dismay, Anthony Carey quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Manchester City's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Anthony Carey in the 26th minute. A nice corner shot did that Clive Hayward got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Inge Tuero quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 33rd match minute, Manchester City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mitch Cryer to maneuver through the defense. Manchester City's Frank Pearce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milian Claudio in the 36th minute of play. Inge Tuero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antony Kingston went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Inge Tuero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anthony Carey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anthony Carey to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Cusco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anthony Carey came free, but Inge Tuero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 52 minutes into the game, Manchester City's Anthony Carey nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Inge Tuero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. When Benino Maria came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Cusco FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benino Maria couldn't finish the play. If Stevie Colman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tadeu Viesca charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tadeu Viesca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 62 minutes of play, Manchester City's Antony Kingston made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Inge Tuero was left in no man's land by his defense there! Antony Kingston could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Inge Tuero made a huge save. Cusco FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Stevie Colman scored to the left of an out of position Inge Tuero, making the score, 0-5. 74 minutes into the match, Anthony Carey dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Inge Tuero, 0-6. After 77 played minutes Cusco FC got a freekick which was hit by Gavino Nieves. A collision led to Manchester City getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Danny Seagrave hit a great ball. Anthony Carey's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Inge Tuero skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Inge Tuero came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Manchester City's Anthony Carey. But to his dismay, Anthony Carey quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Inge Tuero made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Stevie Colman sent off a good shot on target. Inge Tuero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anthony Carey, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Cusco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anthony Carey came free, but Inge Tuero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stevie Colman in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Inge Tuero saved Cusco FC from getting behind. Inge Tuero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anthony Carey in the 93rd minute of play. When the match was over Manchester City could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cusco FC throughout the match.
