Wanderson Freire made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinei Linares in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jos Verduin in the 18th minute of play forced THANDERA® FCCMZ's goalkeeper Emanuel Van Hoeij to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When THANDERA® FCCMZ's Claudinei Linares in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye UMBRELLA CORPORATION™'s goalie prevented a goal. 22 minutes in the game, Claudinei Linares dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. With his leg Wanderson Freire managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when THANDERA® FCCMZ's Claudinei Linares fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Karel-Jan De Winter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Van Hoeij having to interfere. Emanuel Van Hoeij stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnaldo Vergílio's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. When THANDERA® FCCMZ's Claudinei Linares in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye UMBRELLA CORPORATION™'s goalie prevented a goal. If Jos Verduin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Van Hoeij took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Vergílio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When UMBRELLA CORPORATION™'s Jos Verduin in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye THANDERA® FCCMZ's goalie prevented a goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claudinei Linares was the one to do the kick off. 60 minutes into the game, Lukas De Smet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. THANDERA® FCCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UMBRELLA CORPORATION™ the free kick. Lukas De Smet kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Albertinho Valadares hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. The supporters of THANDERA® FCCMZ booed when UMBRELLA CORPORATION™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Betão Cearense didn't get a good kick on the ball. UMBRELLA CORPORATION™'s Wanderson Freire played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinei Linares in the 81st minute of play. In the 85th minute, Claudinei Linares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wanderson Freire was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. When Marquinhos de Lara came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the THANDERA® FCCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marquinhos de Lara couldn't finish the play. THANDERA® FCCMZ's Emanuel Van Hoeij proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save THANDERA® FCCMZ from getting a goal against them.
