The referee ignored THANDERA® FCCMZ's protests and gave Cássio Marques a yellow card for diving instead. 20 minutes in the game, Iulian Pietreanu dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. When Petrică Cândreanu fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's protests and gave Petrică Cândreanu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd minute, Petrică Cândreanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute, Claudinei Linares left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The THANDERA® FCCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Silas Vasconcelos kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Iulian Pietreanu notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of THANDERA® FCCMZ's Emanuel Van Hoeij. Emanuel Van Hoeij was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinei Linares in the 33rd minute of play forced FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's goalkeeper Gong Jun Feng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the match, THANDERA® FCCMZ's goalkeeper Emanuel Van Hoeij had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adrian Pătrășcanu. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iulian Pietreanu to make the kick off. THANDERA® FCCMZ's Marquinhos de Lara got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Gong Jun Feng managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when THANDERA® FCCMZ's Claudinei Linares fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Orçun Yalınalp scored 3-1 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emanuel Van Hoeij, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gong Jun Feng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinei Linares in the 79th minute of the match. THANDERA® FCCMZ's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
