But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evaristo Pedroso couldn't finish the play. Esteve Calisto didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when UMBRELLA CORPORATION™'s Jos Verduin shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. 9 minutes into the match, Karel-Jan De Winter had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Esteve Calisto. Westie FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karel-Jan De Winter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After having played for 16 minutes, Jos Verduin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UMBRELLA CORPORATION™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Jos Verduin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind UMBRELLA CORPORATION™'s goalkeeper Wanderson Freire, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Esteve Calisto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jos Verduin in the 29th minute of the match. Betão Cearense took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Esteve Calisto. Esteve Calisto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Dimitris Moularas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Wanderson Freire firmly grabbed it by the left post. Jos Verduin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Westie FC booed when UMBRELLA CORPORATION™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaldo Vergílio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wanderson Freire made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dimitris Moularas in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Özcan Sırat in the 43rd minute of play forced UMBRELLA CORPORATION™'s goalkeeper Wanderson Freire to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnaldo Vergílio in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Esteve Calisto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 46th minute, Adalberto Correia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Westie FC's goalkeeper Esteve Calisto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Santos Poz during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dimitris Moularas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wanderson Freire read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. UMBRELLA CORPORATION™ walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
