In the 5th match minute, Los Piratas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ara Simonyan to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Karel-Jan De Winter in the 5th minute really tested Martin Abadia's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The supporters of UMBRELLA CORPORATION™ booed when Los Piratas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerasimos Tatoulis didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karel-Jan De Winter got free with Martin Abadia in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 11 minutes into the match, Los Piratas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Vergílio came free, but Martin Abadia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martin Abadia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karel-Jan De Winter in the 16th minute. Martin Abadia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo Vergílio, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute UMBRELLA CORPORATION™ were awarded a corner. Karel-Jan De Winter went to the cornerflag to take it. After a rather tough play, Los Piratas FC's Gerasimos Tatoulis got a free kick in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the game, Arnaldo Vergílio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Martin Abadia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Jorge Cervera's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wanderson Freire was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. In the 32nd minute of the match, Arnaldo Vergílio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Martin Abadia saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Candido Ospin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute, Karel-Jan De Winter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wanderson Freire stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Candido Ospin's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Vergílio in the 41st minute of play forced Los Piratas FC's goalkeeper Martin Abadia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Los Piratas FC's Martin Abadia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Rosado in the 42nd minute of play. UMBRELLA CORPORATION™ were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after Los Piratas FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Karel-Jan De Winter took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Karel-Jan De Winter got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Martin Abadia quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Pedrão Marquez kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Jorge Cervera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jos Verduin made a kick off. Martin Abadia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jos Verduin, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After having played for 57 minutes, Jorge Cervera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Piratas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Cervera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 58th minute, Betão Cearense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 60 minutes of play, Los Piratas FC's Candido Ospin made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wanderson Freire was left in no man's land by his defense there! UMBRELLA CORPORATION™'s Arnaldo Vergílio got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jorge Cervera in the 71stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Wanderson Freire, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jorge Cervera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 74 minutes of play, UMBRELLA CORPORATION™'s Tomás Rosado made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Martin Abadia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Martin Abadia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Vergílio in the 77th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jos Verduin in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martin Abadia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Los Piratas FC's Martin Abadia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jos Verduin in the 83rd minute of play. Jorge Cervera might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wanderson Freire. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jorge Cervera ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Los Piratas FC booed when UMBRELLA CORPORATION™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaldo Vergílio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute, Betão Cearense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94thth minute of the game Jos Verduin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Piratas FC's Martin Abadia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to UMBRELLA CORPORATION™ getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Adalberto Correia hit a great ball. UMBRELLA CORPORATION™ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Los Piratas FC for a fine match.
