The supporters of El Retorno de Palermo booed when Cura del Futbol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Acosta didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Lehior in the 16th minute of play forced Cura del Futbol's goalkeeper Braulio Onbera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Constantino Peter took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Saturnino Igon to make any attempt to save it. Apolo Bordat took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Saturnino Igon. Saturnino Igon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Gaspar Iraitz's late challenge caught a Cura del Futbol's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaspar Iraitz helped the player get up and apologised. After 23 played minutes El Retorno de Palermo got a freekick which was hit by Gaspar Iraitz. After 26 played minutes Cura del Futbol got a freekick which was hit by Melquiades Rosalio. Victor Lehior fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braulio Onbera having to interfere. When Anastasio Salvidor came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the El Retorno de Palermo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anastasio Salvidor couldn't finish the play. In the 35th minute, Gaspar Iraitz made a precise shot to the right of Braulio Onbera. Cura del Futbol's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Saturnino Igon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantino Peter in the 41st minute of play. After some careless play in the El Retorno de Palermo defense, Teodosio Oriche kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Saturnino Igon. The El Retorno de Palermo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Saturnino Igon should have stopped the shot. 47 minutes into the game, Cura del Futbol's Teodosio Oriche nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Saturnino Igon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-2 at half-time.

Saturnino Igon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodosio Oriche in the 55th minute of play. After 56 minutes, Victor Lehior mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Retorno de Palermo and the Cura del Futbol players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 57 played minutes El Retorno de Palermo got a freekick which was hit by Victor Lehior. Melquiades Rosalio might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Saturnino Igon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Melquiades Rosalio ran back to his position shaking his head. Saturnino Igon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodosio Oriche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saturnino Igon came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Cura del Futbol's Melquiades Rosalio. But to his dismay, Melquiades Rosalio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-2. After 74 played minutes Cura del Futbol got a freekick which was hit by Emiliano Jakue. El Retorno de Palermo's Ismael Musko shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 76th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Braulio Onbera but with some difficulty. Saturnino Igon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melquiades Rosalio in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantino Peter in the 83rd minute of play forced El Retorno de Palermo's goalkeeper Saturnino Igon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. El Retorno de Palermo's Saturnino Igon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melquiades Rosalio in the 84th minute of play. Gaspar Iraitz hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Saturnino Igon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantino Peter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the match, El Retorno de Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Melquiades Rosalio came free, but Saturnino Igon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aquiles Cordearo during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aquiles Cordearo kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Carolo Chus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cura del Futbol's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
