Hipolito Tonete made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. If Jacinto Berasko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carolo Chus charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carolo Chus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Carolo Chus kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 34th minute Teodosio Oriche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hipolito Tonete saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 40 minutes, Teodosio Oriche managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cura del Futbol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodosio Oriche was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 47 minutes into the game, Carlos Villalba was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Furia Calamar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cura del Futbol the free kick. The supporters of Cura del Futbol booed when Furia Calamar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Villalba didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th match minute, Furia Calamar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Villalba to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Constantino Peter to strike the kick off in the second half. Melquiades Rosalio kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. The Cura del Futbol fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Braulio Onbera should have stopped the shot. 89 minutes into the game, Mauricio Sanson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Braulio Onbera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Furia Calamar were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
