The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute Flavinho Brodel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bogdan Bierfass saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 8 minutes of play, GLADIADORES's Flavinho Brodel made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bogdan Bierfass was left in no man's land by his defense there! Flavinho Brodel's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 11thth minute, Bogdan Bierfass skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 13thth minute of the game Flavinho Brodel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KP Chemik Police's Bogdan Bierfass was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cido Goiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bogdan Bierfass having to interfere. A hard shot 20 in the game by Flavinho Brodel from a close distance when the talented Bogdan Bierfass managed to make a qualified save. KP Chemik Police's players were relieved. The supporters of GLADIADORES booed when KP Chemik Police was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wlodzimierz Bubczyk didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Flavinho Brodel sped through KP Chemik Police's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bogdan Bierfass. Dorival Sarmento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Bogdan Bierfass tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flavinho Brodel had several of the KP Chemik Police's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 34 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 6-0 score and a disappointed Bogdan Bierfass as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 42nd minute, Alfredinho Recife got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 43rd minute, GLADIADORES's Flavinho Brodel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bogdan Bierfass. Bogdan Bierfass yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 8-0. Bogdan Bierfass made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Flavinho Brodel sent off a good shot on target. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

GLADIADORES's Genílson Queirós was substituted for Ezequiel Pombal. The GLADIADORES fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when GLADIADORES's Flavinho Brodel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 10-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Flavinho Brodel in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bogdan Bierfass saved KP Chemik Police from getting behind. After some careless play in the KP Chemik Police defense, Dorival Sarmento kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bogdan Bierfass. The KP Chemik Police fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bogdan Bierfass should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Flavinho Brodel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bogdan Bierfass was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Flavinho Brodel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bogdan Bierfass having to interfere. Alfredinho Recife received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Bogdan Bierfass tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bogdan Bierfass made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorival Sarmento in the 86th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, KP Chemik Police's goal looked a bit too open when Flavinho Brodel came free, but Bogdan Bierfass reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Flavinho Brodel in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bogdan Bierfass prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bogdan Bierfass stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Flavinho Brodel's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. When the referee ended the match the GLADIADORES players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
