The audience thought a goal was coming when Ivan Nel got free with Saturnino Igon in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Saturnino Igon managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when The Arquitect's Braulio Sayveon fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Saturnino Igon was a little too slow when Ivan Nel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 2-0. After 27 played minutes The Arquitect got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Nel. A hard shot by Simon Bernat from long distance, 31 minutes into the match, got Saturnino Igon's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The supporters of The Arquitect booed when El Retorno de Palermo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vinicio Ekhi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Braulio Sayveon struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Saturnino Igon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Arquitect. Saturnino Igon came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by The Arquitect's Braulio Sayveon. But to his dismay, Braulio Sayveon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. El Retorno de Palermo's Saturnino Igon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Salvadore in the 45th minute of play. Saturnino Igon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Salvadore in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victor Lehior made a kick off. Rigoberto Anaya hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the game, The Arquitect's Cirilo Marino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Saturnino Igon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. In the 65th minute, Gaspar Iraitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saturnino Igon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Braulio Sayveon, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Saturnino Igon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Salvadore in the 71st minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, The Arquitect's goalkeeper Baltasar Birila had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaspar Iraitz. 73 minutes into the match, Gaspar Iraitz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Baltasar Birila, 5-1. Israel Luke was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 96 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in The Arquitect fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 95th minute. Penalty!
