After a defensive mix-up in Linghed Angels FC's zone, Francisco Gitano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michael Malmström came out of the goal and Francisco Gitano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Michael Malmström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Villalba in the 8th minute of play. Per-Åke Bruse's late challenge caught a Furia Calamar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Per-Åke Bruse helped the player get up and apologised. Per-Åke Bruse kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. The Linghed Angels FC fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Linghed Angels FC's Anders Lindsten looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Hipolito Tonete showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anders Lindsten, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. If Rickard Svensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Furia Calamar's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Erubiel Matthew in the 26th minute. In the 29th minute, Anders Lindsten ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hipolito Tonete was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Hipolito Tonete took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anders Lindsten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Niclas Vase blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hipolito Tonete having to make a save. Hipolito Tonete stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anders Lindsten's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. In the 40th minute Anders Lindsten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hipolito Tonete saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute Anders Lindsten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hipolito Tonete saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the game, Rickard Svensson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Hipolito Tonete was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anders Lindsten to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Niclas Vase managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Linghed Angels FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niclas Vase was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Michael Malmström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erubiel Matthew, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Per-Åke Bruse kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rickard Svensson got free with Hipolito Tonete in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Michael Malmström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erubiel Matthew in the 63rd minute of the match. Rickard Svensson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Hipolito Tonete firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to Linghed Angels FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Bengt-Rune Linberg hit a great ball. Linghed Angels FC's Aleksander Sundling was substituted for Niclas Vase. Hipolito Tonete made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Rickard Svensson sent off a good shot on target. In the 75th minute, Carlos Villalba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anders Lindsten in the 78th minute of play forced Furia Calamar's goalkeeper Hipolito Tonete to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 79 played minutes Furia Calamar got a freekick which was hit by Herminio Semeno. After a rather tough play, Linghed Angels FC's Lennart Lind got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Hipolito Tonete made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rickard Svensson in the 85th minute of play. The supporters of Furia Calamar booed when Linghed Angels FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lennart Lind didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anders Lindsten charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anders Lindsten the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 92nd minute, Anders Lindsten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rickard Svensson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 96thth minute tested the skills of Hipolito Tonete when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The Furia Calamar fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Linghed Angels FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
