The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Igor Abajas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustaquio Azibar in the 2nd minute of play. After 4 minutes Furia Calamar's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Melchor Arias who took care of the corner kick. Laureano Asur was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Apolo Ted stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erubiel Matthew's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. In the 9th minute, Delmar Duarte reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Apolo Ted. The goal made the score 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Melchor Arias in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Igor Abajas saved Furia Calamar from getting behind. A collision led to Furia Calamar getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Herminio Semeno hit a great ball. When Prudencio Ostargi came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Cremonese fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Prudencio Ostargi couldn't finish the play. Aquiles Domeka charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aquiles Domeka the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aquiles Domeka kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Igor Abajas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustaquio Azibar, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After a rather tough play, Cremonese's Gualterio Idacio got a free kick in the 29th minute. Igor Abajas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prudencio Ostargi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute Melchor Arias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Abajas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cremonese's Apolo Ted played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erubiel Matthew in the 60th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Melchor Arias took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Igor Abajas to make any attempt to save it. After having played for 68 minutes, Prudencio Ostargi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cremonese's supporters crossed their fingers, but Prudencio Ostargi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 69th match minute, Furia Calamar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquiles Domeka to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the game, Hipolito Tonete was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Furia Calamar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cremonese the free kick. A collision led to Furia Calamar getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Hipolito Tonete hit a great ball. With his leg Igor Abajas managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when Cremonese's Eustaquio Azibar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 80th minute Delmar Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Ted saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erubiel Matthew struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Apolo Ted didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Furia Calamar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmar Duarte in the 84th minute of play forced Cremonese's goalkeeper Apolo Ted to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the game, Ronaldo Martínez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Apolo Ted was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Delmar Duarte scored 3-1 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Apolo Ted, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Furia Calamar made a substitution. Francisco Gitano replaced Erubiel Matthew. 95 minutes into the game, Francisco Gitano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Apolo Ted was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee ended the match the Furia Calamar players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
