El Retorno de Palermo's Sergio Faron proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save El Retorno de Palermo from getting a goal against them. If Idacio Helguera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute of the match, Marquez Feal tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sergio Faron saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Marquez Feal struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Sergio Faron didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los romperredes F.C. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Idacio Helguera sped through El Retorno de Palermo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sergio Faron. In the 25th minute, Marquez Feal made a precise shot to the right of Sergio Faron. El Retorno de Palermo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After a rather tough play, Los romperredes F.C's Piorno Arias got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Lucio Loco's late challenge caught a Los romperredes F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucio Loco helped the player get up and apologised. Los romperredes F.C's Gaskon Mayor was substituted for Pepe Veloso. Lucio Loco hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. 57 minutes into the game, Marquez Feal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los romperredes F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Retorno de Palermo the free kick. Sergio Faron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marquez Feal, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. A collision led to El Retorno de Palermo getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Dionisio Eutor hit a great ball. Sergio Faron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Idacio Helguera in the 60th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the game, Marquez Feal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Sergio Faron was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marquez Feal took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sergio Faron. Sergio Faron dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Sergio Faron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marquez Feal in the 68th minute of play. In the 72nd minute Marquez Feal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Faron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Casildo Galdamez notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of El Retorno de Palermo's Sergio Faron. Sergio Faron was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 77 minutes of play, Los romperredes F.C's Idacio Helguera made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sergio Faron was left in no man's land by his defense there! Idacio Helguera scored 8-0 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sergio Faron, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gaskon Mayor in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sergio Faron prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Marquez Feal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los romperredes F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Marquez Feal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sergio Faron breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Casildo Galdamez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Faron having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Gaskon Mayor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sergio Faron. El Retorno de Palermo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gaskon Mayor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Los romperredes F.C fully deserved thier win.
