Baltasar Birila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melquiades Rosalio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Israel Luke fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Arquitect's protests and gave Israel Luke a yellow card for diving instead. 14 minutes into the match, The Arquitect's goal looked a bit too open when Ramon Luzaide came free, but Baltasar Birila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, The Arquitect's Simon Bernat got a free kick in the 15th minute. Godfredo Ramond's late challenge caught a Cura del Futbol's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Godfredo Ramond helped the player get up and apologised. Cura del Futbol made a substitution. Israel Torres replaced Ramon Luzaide. The supporters of Cura del Futbol booed when The Arquitect was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godfredo Ramond didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baltasar Birila came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Cura del Futbol's Cleto Santikurtz. But to his dismay, Cleto Santikurtz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 27th minute, Cleto Santikurtz made a precise shot to the right of Baltasar Birila. The Arquitect's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. The Arquitect's Baltasar Birila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodosio Oriche in the 35th minute of play. After 36 minutes, Melquiades Rosalio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cura del Futbol and the The Arquitect players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 36 played minutes Cura del Futbol got a freekick which was hit by Melquiades Rosalio. The supporters of The Arquitect booed when Cura del Futbol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano Jakue didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute Gerardo Salvadore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Hernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cura del Futbol's Teodosio Oriche got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Baltasar Birila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Israel Torres in the 45th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gerardo Salvadore stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Braulio Sayveon succeeded in the game's 52nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-3. In the 56th minute, Cura del Futbol's Israel Torres dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. The Arquitect's Baltasar Birila proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save The Arquitect from getting a goal against them. In the 64th match minute, The Arquitect was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Braulio Sayveon to maneuver through the defense. Braulio Sayveon's late challenge caught a Cura del Futbol's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Braulio Sayveon helped the player get up and apologised. In the 67th minute, Braulio Sayveon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emiliano Jakue kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 72nd minute of the match Gervasio Mambru shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gilberto Hernandez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleto Santikurtz in the 75th minute of play forced The Arquitect's goalkeeper Baltasar Birila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the game, The Arquitect's Cirilo Marino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gilberto Hernandez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. In the 83rd minute, Cura del Futbol's Cleto Santikurtz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Baltasar Birila. Baltasar Birila yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-5. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Teodosio Oriche took a quick shot and it went in 2-6 without a chance for Baltasar Birila to make any attempt to save it. Baltasar Birila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eulalio Blanco in the 97th minute of play. When the match was over Cura del Futbol could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than The Arquitect throughout the match.
