The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Cura del Futbol booed when Linghed Angels FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ove Hellström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frank McLintock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Gilberto Hernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ove Hellström struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Gilberto Hernandez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Linghed Angels FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Jörgen Magnusson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Linghed Angels FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jörgen Magnusson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilberto Hernandez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gilberto Hernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jörgen Magnusson in the 9th minute of play. Cura del Futbol's Gilberto Hernandez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Cura del Futbol from getting a goal against them. Linghed Angels FC's Jörgen Magnusson was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 15th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 23rd minute, Martin Ødegaard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melquiades Rosalio in the 28th minute of play forced Linghed Angels FC's goalkeeper Michael Malmström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Linghed Angels FC's goal looked a bit too open when Melquiades Rosalio came free, but Michael Malmström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jörgen Magnusson in the 31st minute of play forced Cura del Futbol's goalkeeper Gilberto Hernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilberto Hernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jörgen Magnusson in the 35th minute of the match. Jörgen Magnusson scored 2-0 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gilberto Hernandez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Linghed Angels FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ove Hellström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eulalio Blanco's late challenge caught a Linghed Angels FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eulalio Blanco helped the player get up and apologised. After 44 played minutes Cura del Futbol got a freekick which was hit by Eulalio Blanco. Martin Ødegaard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Hernandez having to interfere. The supporters of Linghed Angels FC booed when Cura del Futbol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apolo Bordat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cleto Santikurtz to strike the kick off in the second half. Cura del Futbol's Gilberto Hernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ove Hellström in the 50th minute of play. Jörgen Magnusson might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gilberto Hernandez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jörgen Magnusson ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 56th match minute, Cura del Futbol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eulalio Blanco to maneuver through the defense. Gilberto Hernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jörgen Magnusson, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 63rd minute, Jörgen Magnusson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Linghed Angels FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Gilberto Hernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Ødegaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Michael Malmström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon Luzaide in the 68th minute of play. Cura del Futbol's Gilberto Hernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Ødegaard in the 70th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramon Luzaide in the 71st minute of play forced Linghed Angels FC's goalkeeper Michael Malmström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Martin Ødegaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Linghed Angels FC made a substitution. Rickard Svensson replaced Anders Lindsten. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ove Hellström in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilberto Hernandez saved Cura del Futbol from getting behind. 79 minutes into the game, one of Cura del Futbol:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gilberto Hernandez had in the 80thth minute some difficulties stopping Jörgen Magnusson's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. A collision led to Cura del Futbol getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Cleto Santikurtz hit a great ball. The Linghed Angels FC fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when Linghed Angels FC's Ove Hellström looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 87 minutes into the match, Ove Hellström notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Cura del Futbol's Gilberto Hernandez. Gilberto Hernandez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ove Hellström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Hernandez having to interfere. Linghed Angels FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
