Marcel Anisie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haşim Resat in the 19th minute of the match. Cătălin Mestecăneanu made in the 20th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FCFiratRom's Bahattin Enfal. 23 minutes into the match, FCFiratRom's Haşim Resat sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcel Anisie narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 24 minutes into the match, Haşim Resat notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of DINAMO's Marcel Anisie. Marcel Anisie was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Haşim Resat in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcel Anisie saved DINAMO from getting behind. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind DINAMO's goalkeeper Marcel Anisie, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 30th minute of the match FCFiratRom got a corner. DINAMO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hakkı Kenan Garipoğlu ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to FCFiratRom getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Yakut Şerhenk hit a great ball. Marcel Anisie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hakkı Kenan Garipoğlu in the 36th minute of play. Șerban Damian took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zekai Hilal. Zekai Hilal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 46 minutes into the game, Basarab Bâlea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DINAMO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FCFiratRom the free kick. The supporters of FCFiratRom booed when DINAMO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basarab Bâlea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Șerban Damian made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ali Nejat Maruf in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcel Anisie saved DINAMO from getting behind. The supporters of FCFiratRom booed when DINAMO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Șerban Damian didn't get a good kick on the ball. FCFiratRom's Haşim Resat got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zekai Hilal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Șerban Damian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Irinel Gheordunescu during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FCFiratRom booed when DINAMO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Irinel Gheordunescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Haşim Resat struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Marcel Anisie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FCFiratRom. In the 71st play minute Haşim Resat came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Marcel Anisie. 1-3. A hard shot 74 in the game by Haşim Resat from a close distance when the talented Marcel Anisie managed to make a qualified save. DINAMO's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basarab Bâlea in the 78th minute of play forced FCFiratRom's goalkeeper Zekai Hilal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute Haşim Resat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Anisie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Haşim Resats short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Marcel Anisie to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Marcel Anisie made an important save on a dangerous shot by Haşim Resat in the 97th minute. The FCFiratRom supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FCFiratRom would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
