In the 5th minute Gaspar Valines shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulino Lain saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8thth minute of the game Baltasar Urquiza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Les Tigres's Paulino Lain was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Paulino Lain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquilino Morillo in the 10th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltasar Urquiza in the 21st minute of play forced Les Tigres's goalkeeper Paulino Lain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Arias Yera fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FERRABARCA FC's protests and gave Arias Yera a yellow card for diving instead. FERRABARCA FC:s Cresconio Mel showed great skill when he stopped Albano Esiquio:s penalty. 23 minutes into the match, Albano Esiquio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cresconio Mel. FERRABARCA FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Albano Esiquio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After some careless play in the Les Tigres defense, Aquilino Morillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulino Lain. The Les Tigres fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulino Lain should have stopped the shot. The audience held their breath when Albano Esiquio in the 34th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Cresconio Mel's left hand side. Iratze Vedeja was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 37 minutes into the match. Cresconio Mel made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Albano Esiquio sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, FERRABARCA FC's Aquilino Morillo got a free kick in the 44th minute. When Abel Estebe fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Les Tigres's protests and gave Abel Estebe a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FERRABARCA FC booed when Les Tigres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Estebe didn't get a good kick on the ball. When FERRABARCA FC's Aquilino Morillo in the 49th minute got a chance for a shot 49th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. FERRABARCA FC's Lucas Pavieta was substituted for Rayman Baraona. Les Tigres's Paulino Lain proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Les Tigres from getting a goal against them. Angelo Lluc kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. With 66 minutes on the clock, Niceto Gil commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Cresconio Mel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 90 played minutes Les Tigres got a freekick which was hit by Ulises Eleazar. Paulino Lain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, FERRABARCA FC's Rik Lagunas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paulino Lain narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Les Tigres's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
