The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Krišjānis Ābeļnieks in the 9th minute of play forced Rafaela FC's goalkeeper Inocencio Veronica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Jax in the 10th minute of play forced Barcelona de América's goalkeeper Tenorio Reiriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Alex Suhendar in the 12th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Barcelona de América's Calisto Cean. Krišjānis Ābeļnieks's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Inocencio Veronica read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Inocencio Veronica showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krišjānis Ābeļnieks, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. With an all-out effort, Rafaela FC's Tenorio Reiriz threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 20th minute, Ubaldo Lluis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Krišjānis Ābeļnieks took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Inocencio Veronica. Inocencio Veronica dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Rafaela FC's Inocencio Veronica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Krišjānis Ābeļnieks in the 29th minute of play. Inocencio Veronica came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Barcelona de América's Krišjānis Ābeļnieks. But to his dismay, Krišjānis Ābeļnieks quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 36th minute, Krišjānis Ābeļnieks made a precise shot to the right of Inocencio Veronica. Rafaela FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 42 minutes in the game, Rolando Jax fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Tenorio Reiriz having to interfere. Krišjānis Ābeļnieks's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Inocencio Veronica read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Barcelona de América made a substitution. Zumar Gascon replaced Perlaza Lena. Barcelona de América's Flavio Perez was substituted for Krišjānis Ābeļnieks. Tenorio Reiriz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. If Flavio Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 58th match minute, Rafaela FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio to maneuver through the defense. Lorenzo Viergol struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Inocencio Veronica didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barcelona de América. Inocencio Veronica showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Perez, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. With an all-out effort, Barcelona de América's Inocencio Veronica threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Flavio Perez, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Tenorio Reiriz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteban Ikatz in the 74th minute of the match. Ross Strong recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Barcelona de América's Flavio Perez got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rolando Jax fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tenorio Reiriz having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Flavio Perez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Inocencio Veronica was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Barcelona de América's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
