In the 17th minute, Fred Ekman made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Germano. Club Atlético Atlanta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Nicolas Tantholt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Carlos Germano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Club Atlético Atlanta booed when Halkus Valkus BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sune Sjöberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcellus Baumann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Barros in the 22nd minute of the match. Marcellus Baumann was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Edgard Barros capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edgard Barros really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. 26 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Nick Usel came free, but Carlos Germano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Sundström hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ovidiu Spirea in the 33rd minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Carlos Germano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Club Atlético Atlanta defense, Ovidiu Spirea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlos Germano. The Club Atlético Atlanta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Germano should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ovidiu Spirea in the 36th minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Carlos Germano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The coaching staff of Halkus Valkus BK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Reine Wickander had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Halkus Valkus BK getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Reine Wickander hit a great ball. 45 minutes into the game, Ovidiu Spirea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Halkus Valkus BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético Atlanta the free kick. In the 45th minute, Ovidiu Spirea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Halkus Valkus BK's Marcellus Baumann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Rojelio in the 47th minute of play.
The wind increased when Nick Usel made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Nicolas Tantholt kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Carlos Germano. In the 85th minute, Abel Iban had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Jonathan Sundström charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonathan Sundström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 87th match minute, Halkus Valkus BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Sundström to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Germano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Ekman in the 92nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Pedro Rojelio got a free kick in the 92nd minute. If Sune Sjöberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Germano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Ekman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Halkus Valkus BK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
