Slovakia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 7th minute, when Hardas Dunđer scored to the left of an out of position Henrich Slany, making the score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Slovakia's Metod Mlynar got a free kick in the 11th minute. After 15 minutes of play, Bɪᴀɴᴄᴀ ŦС's Oliver Giroud made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henrich Slany was left in no man's land by his defense there! 3-0 became the score in the 21st minute when Hardas Dunđer elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Henrich Slany showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernt Stigsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. A nice corner shot did that Per-Arne Björkqvist got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Henrich Slany quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 31 minutes into the match, Hardas Dunđer dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Henrich Slany, 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Bɪᴀɴᴄᴀ ŦС's zone, Metod Mlynar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joachim Högman came out of the goal and Metod Mlynar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Henrich Slany was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hardas Dunđer showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 43 minute of play.

In the 51st minute Oliver Giroud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrich Slany saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Metod Mlynar got free with Joachim Högman in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 53rdth minute of the game Metod Mlynar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bɪᴀɴᴄᴀ ŦС's Joachim Högman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 54 minutes into the game, Oliver Giroud cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Henrich Slany was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Slovakia's zone, Hardas Dunđer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henrich Slany came out of the goal and Hardas Dunđer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60th minute Alfonz Kovács shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrich Slany saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bɪᴀɴᴄᴀ ŦС's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Per-Arne Björkqvist in the 61st minute. Bɪᴀɴᴄᴀ ŦС's Per-Arne Björkqvist was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Henrich Slany in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A hard and well directed shot from Per-Arne Björkqvist led 61 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Slovakia's Henrich Slany became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 7-0. Joachim Högman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Metod Mlynar in the 65th minute. Oliver Giroud hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Bɪᴀɴᴄᴀ ŦС made a substitution. Adam Klintæus replaced Alfonz Kovács. The supporters of Slovakia booed when Bɪᴀɴᴄᴀ ŦС was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oliver Giroud didn't get a good kick on the ball. Henrich Slany made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hardas Dunđer in the 73rd minute of play. If Pavol Koleno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stefan Havel hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Slovakia's Henrich Slany played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hardas Dunđer in the 78th minute of play. If Hardas Dunđer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Slovakia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
