Croatia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Arkadiusz Piatek scored to the left of an out of position Ilija Skugor, making the score, 3-0. After 30th play minutes Arkadiusz Piatek shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Ilija Skugor and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 34th minute, Arkadiusz Piatek made a precise shot to the right of Ilija Skugor. Croatia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. In the 38th minute there was a penalty for AS Monaco FC. Arkadiusz Piatek stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ilija Skugor. 6-0.
