In the 24th minute Eustaquio Jaizki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dominik Zworski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Atlanta's zone, Chaouki Ben Rau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Germano came out of the goal and Chaouki Ben Rau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Pedro Rojelio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Atlanta's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Rojelio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dominik Zworski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Club Atlético Atlanta's Carlos Germano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chaouki Ben Rau in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, F.C. Sosnowiec's Ziemowit Mis got a free kick in the 54th minute. After a defensive mix-up in F.C. Sosnowiec's zone, Edgard Barros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dominik Zworski came out of the goal and Edgard Barros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonard Lewkowicz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Germano having to make a save. In the 58th minute, Chaouki Ben Rau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonard Lewkowicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 71 minutes into the game, Leonard Lewkowicz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Carlos Germano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Club Atlético Atlanta's Carlos Germano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zachary Czerniak in the 77th minute of play. The supporters of F.C. Sosnowiec booed when Club Atlético Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Rojelio didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonard Lewkowicz in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Germano saved Club Atlético Atlanta from getting behind. F.C. Sosnowiec's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
