In the 4th minute, San Pablo FC's Shen Xiang Chong dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. If Filiberto Paz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximo Pelayo came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Internet XAire's Filiberto Paz. But to his dismay, Filiberto Paz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 22 minutes into the match, San Pablo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Filiberto Paz came free, but Maximo Pelayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th match minute, Internet XAire was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guido Abeita to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute, Guido Abeita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maximo Pelayo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filiberto Paz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maximo Pelayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filiberto Paz in the 37th minute of play. In the 40th match minute, San Pablo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prospero Moreno to maneuver through the defense. Aurelio Rexino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerardo Lia in the 45th minute. San Pablo FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Shen Xiang Chong in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Shen Xiang Chong in the 54th minute of play forced Internet XAire's goalkeeper Aurelio Rexino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Internet XAire's Filiberto Paz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Maximo Pelayo. That made the score 2-2 after 55 minutes of play. Benedicto Selatse kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filiberto Paz got free with Maximo Pelayo in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 64th minute of the game. One of San Pablo FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Internet XAire:s goal. Internet XAire made a substitution. Victorio Perico replaced Benedicto Selatse. Maximo Pelayo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victorio Perico in the 73rd minute. From a short distance, Internet XAire's Victorio Perico, in the 75th minute, tried to place the ball behind Maximo Pelayo, but the ball hit the right post on the wrong side and went out. Maximo Pelayo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benigno Pisculichi's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Camilo Rumaldo charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Camilo Rumaldo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Camilo Rumaldo hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Maximo Pelayo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Filiberto Paz went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-5 was the resulting score. The Internet XAire supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Internet XAire would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
