Hermengildo Montrel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carmelo Ponce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hermengildo Montrel came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by El coca fc's Carmelo Ponce. But to his dismay, Carmelo Ponce quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Geronimo Arce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Erasmo Goizeder's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Atilano Normando was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Hermengildo Montrel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Prudencio Eskuin's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Carmelo Ponce in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hermengildo Montrel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. El coca fc's Prudencio Eskuin couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Club Atletico Rio Tercero. In the 26th minute of the match, Prudencio Eskuin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hermengildo Montrel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Club Atletico Rio Tercero's Hermengildo Montrel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atletico Rio Tercero from getting a goal against them. In the 31st minute Samuel Lon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilano Normando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Rio Tercero's goalkeeper Hermengildo Montrel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Prudencio Eskuin. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erasmo Goizeder to make the kick off. Atilano Normando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmelo Ponce in the 66th minute of play forced Club Atletico Rio Tercero's goalkeeper Hermengildo Montrel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Club Atletico Rio Tercero getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Samuel Lon hit a great ball. Club Atletico Rio Tercero's Hermengildo Montrel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prudencio Eskuin in the 78th minute of play. After 91 played minutes El coca fc got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Francis. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Noguera in the 94th minute of play forced Club Atletico Rio Tercero's goalkeeper Hermengildo Montrel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The El coca fc fans cheered their team off the field, for while Club Atletico Rio Tercero had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
