In the 17th minute, Osvaldo Ardiles made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Germano. Club Atlético Atlanta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Atilano Normando came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético Atlanta's Eustaquio Jaizki. But to his dismay, Eustaquio Jaizki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Carlos Germano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arsenio Aguilera, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Carlos Germano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmelo Ponce in the 32nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benigno Abreu in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Atilano Normando prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Club Atlético Atlanta's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ciro Ferdinand in the 37th minute. 38 minutes into the match, El coca fc's Osvaldo Ardiles sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Germano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 41 minutes into the match, El coca fc's goalkeeper Atilano Normando had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eustaquio Jaizki. In the 43rd match minute, El coca fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Omero Simpson to maneuver through the defense.

The supporters of Club Atlético Atlanta booed when El coca fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruben Anaya didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club Atlético Atlanta were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after El coca fc's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ciro Ferdinand took the corner. After 56 played minutes Club Atlético Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Paolo Caradaro. Through an outstanding action, after 60 minutes, Carlos Germano successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Carlos Germano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvaldo Ardiles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bar Simpson's late challenge caught a Club Atlético Atlanta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bar Simpson helped the player get up and apologised. Bar Simpson hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. 69 minutes into the match, El coca fc's goal looked a bit too open when Eustaquio Jaizki came free, but Atilano Normando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Club Atlético Atlanta's Benigno Abreu in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 91st minute Ruben Anaya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Germano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute, Ruben Anaya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. El coca fc had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
