Nilton Melo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Jeremias Cruz made a huge save. In the 30th match minute, Lugano 1 y 2 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daren McCollum to maneuver through the defense. Marcelo Barovero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Chucho in the 31st minute of play. Marcelo Barovero came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Cremonese's Witold Ciempa. But to his dismay, Witold Ciempa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Witold Ciempa in the 39th minute of play forced Lugano 1 y 2's goalkeeper Marcelo Barovero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeremias Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fermin Quintin in the 41st minute of play. Witold Ciempa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 42 minutes, Witold Ciempa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cremonese's supporters crossed their fingers, but Witold Ciempa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Witold Ciempa took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelo Barovero. Marcelo Barovero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

If Gervasio Tirso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Witold Ciempa in the 53rd minute of play forced Lugano 1 y 2's goalkeeper Marcelo Barovero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelo Barovero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roman Chucho's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Jeremias Cruz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daren McCollum, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelo Barovero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Chucho in the 65th minute of the match. In the 66th minute Witold Ciempa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Barovero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lugano 1 y 2's Marcelo Barovero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lu Guang Lang in the 68th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lu Guang Lang in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelo Barovero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 69 minutes into the match, Lugano 1 y 2's goalkeeper Marcelo Barovero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roman Chucho. Marcelo Barovero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Calvin Huff in the 71st minute. Jeremias Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Constantino Toro, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Daren McCollum received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Jeremias Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cremonese's Rolando Sabino was substituted for Roman Chucho. Marcelo Barovero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lu Guang Lang in the 88th minute of play. Cremonese were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after Lugano 1 y 2's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Leonel Valentim took the corner. After taking down the ball on Cremonese's corner Leonel Valentim fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marcelo Barovero quite easily take care of the ball. Marcelo Barovero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Witold Ciempa, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Marcelo Barovero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Witold Ciempa in the 91st minute of play. Marcelo Barovero was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Rolando Sabino capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rolando Sabino really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. The Lugano 1 y 2 supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cremonese's performance. The match ended with a win for Cremonese.
