Romeu Borges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantino Toro in the 24th minute of the match. Fermin Quintin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Romeu Borges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romeu Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantino Toro in the 29th minute of play. After 29 played minutes Lugano 1 y 2 got a freekick which was hit by Daren McCollum. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Luiz Souto got free with Jacindo Basanguren in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Constantino Toro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Romeu Borges was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
