Kjell Löv hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the match, Barra EC's goalkeeper Romeu Borges had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Romário Faria. William Godoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th match minute, Tigre Brasilis F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kjell Löv to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling William Godoi in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romeu Borges prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fabinho Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Luiz Souto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Barra EC's Romeu Borges proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Barra EC from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Pedro Luiz Souto made the kick off in the second half. Ismael Paraense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabinho Carneiro having to interfere. In the 55thth minute of the game William Godoi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barra EC's Romeu Borges was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 58th match minute, Tigre Brasilis F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silver Nuiamäe to maneuver through the defense. Fabinho Carneiro was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Pedro Luiz Souto. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olavo Ceresso got free with Fabinho Carneiro in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fabinho Carneiro stood somewhat misplaced when Pedro Luiz Souto came free in front of goal and shot 2-2 to the left of him in the 62 minute. Ismael Paraense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabinho Carneiro having to interfere. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barra EC's goalkeeper Romeu Borges, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Barra EC's Romeu Borges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romário Faria in the 91st minute of play. In the 92nd minute, João Vítor Faria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
