Carlos Malvin might have been able to make a better finish in the 2nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Camilo Santiago. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Malvin ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Big Babousa getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Uriel Ostots hit a great ball. Camilo Santiago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Malvin, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. When Black Rose 1979's Cristo Furtado in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The wind increased when Americo Belarmo made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Big Babousa got a freekick which was hit by Melquiades Tohias. 53 minutes into the match, Big Babousa's goalkeeper Camilo Santiago had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristo Furtado. Camilo Santiago made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristo Furtado in the 57th minute. Camilo Santiago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquiles Belasko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee felt a red card was in order, 68 minutes into the game, when Jeremias Emmanuel put in a rough tackle. Filiberto Ascencio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benito Franco's late challenge caught a Black Rose 1979's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benito Franco helped the player get up and apologised. Benito Franco kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Black Rose 1979's Cristo Furtado got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
