Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Gastres FC's Aurelio Baladi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Maximo Bertran made a precise shot to the right of Desiderio Alvarez. Black Rose 1979's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Black Rose 1979's zone, Maximo Bertran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Desiderio Alvarez came out of the goal and Maximo Bertran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lucas Cesaro was a little too slow when Filiberto Ascencio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 1-1. If Filiberto Ascencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Desiderio Alvarez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Fresco in the 18th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Gastres FC's goalkeeper Lucas Cesaro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristo Furtado. Desiderio Alvarez came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Gastres FC's Maximo Bertran. But to his dismay, Maximo Bertran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Fresco in the 33rd minute of play forced Black Rose 1979's goalkeeper Desiderio Alvarez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Anastasio Pueblo fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Black Rose 1979's protests and gave Anastasio Pueblo a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Black Rose 1979 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 35th minute. Penalty! In the 36th minute there was a penalty for Gastres FC. Aurelio Baladi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Desiderio Alvarez. 1-4. Desiderio Alvarez came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Gastres FC's Pascual Emenon. But to his dismay, Pascual Emenon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Desiderio Alvarez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Baladi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Cristo Furtado made the kick off in the second half. Maximo Bertran could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Desiderio Alvarez made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Diego Bartolome during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 57th minute, Amancio Firmo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raul Constancio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Desiderio Alvarez. Black Rose 1979's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Raul Fresco might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Desiderio Alvarez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raul Fresco ran back to his position shaking his head. Desiderio Alvarez made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Aurelio Baladi sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Black Rose 1979's Filiberto Ascencio got a free kick in the 70th minute. Desiderio Alvarez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Fresco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Black Rose 1979's Desiderio Alvarez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornelio Quiroga in the 72nd minute of play. Desiderio Alvarez was a little too slow when Cornelio Quiroga got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 1-7. 80 minutes into the match, Elias Oto dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Desiderio Alvarez, 1-8. In the 84th minute, Gastres FC's Raul Fresco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Desiderio Alvarez. Desiderio Alvarez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-9. Pascual Emenon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Malvin in the 93rd minute of play forced Gastres FC's goalkeeper Lucas Cesaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Black Rose 1979's goalkeeper Desiderio Alvarez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aurelio Baladi. Gastres FC played a much better game than Black Rose 1979 and deserved their victory. The Black Rose 1979 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
