The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Real Academia Serengetti's Julian Bermudez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 20 minutes, Matias Abella mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alzaga FC and the Real Academia Serengetti players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 20 played minutes Alzaga FC got a freekick which was hit by Matias Abella. After 21 played minutes, Real Academia Serengetti's Rodrigo Abeijon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benedicto Duarte came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Real Academia Serengetti reached it. 28 minutes into the match, Pedro Salamon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julian Bermudez. Real Academia Serengetti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedro Salamon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 31stth minute of the game Salvador Quirze who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Academia Serengetti's Julian Bermudez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alzaga FC's Matias Abella got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 39 minutes into the game, Alzaga FC's Salvador Quirze nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julian Bermudez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. 42 minutes into the match, Real Academia Serengetti's goal looked a bit too open when Placido Lia came free, but Julian Bermudez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Placido Lia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Alzaga FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
