After 17 played minutes Los Tiburones Sorobarri C got a freekick which was hit by Alonzo Neron. The long shot by Diego Bartolome in the 20th minute really tested Jose Urko's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The supporters of Los Tiburones Sorobarri C booed when Black Rose 1979 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amancio Firmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Abadie in the 23rd minute of play forced Black Rose 1979's goalkeeper Baldomero Guillem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baldomero Guillem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rosendo Goyo in the 35th minute of the match. Jose Urko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Desiderio Vito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Silvio Llope had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amancio Firmo's late challenge caught a Los Tiburones Sorobarri C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amancio Firmo helped the player get up and apologised. Amancio Firmo hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvio Llope in the 52nd minute of play forced Los Tiburones Sorobarri C's goalkeeper Jose Urko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 52nd match minute, Los Tiburones Sorobarri C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elpidio Oskitz to maneuver through the defense. 56 minutes into the game, Black Rose 1979's Aquiles Belasko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jose Urko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silvio Llope in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jose Urko saved Los Tiburones Sorobarri C from getting behind. Jose Urko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Handi in the 69th minute of the match. In the 71stth minute of the game Silvio Llope who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Tiburones Sorobarri C's Jose Urko was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ciro Maule lost his temper 75 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 77th minute Jorge Handi suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Black Rose 1979's Jeremias Emmanuel was substituted for Jorge Handi. In the 78th match minute, Los Tiburones Sorobarri C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristo Koldobika to maneuver through the defense. Jose Urko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Bartolome in the 82nd minute of play. Black Rose 1979's Baldomero Guillem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Calixto in the 85th minute of play. Desiderio Vito blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jose Urko having to make a save. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Black Rose 1979 fully deserved thier win.
