Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Gastres FC's Aurelio Baladi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute Aurelio Baladi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Santiago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes had been played when some careless play by Big Babousa's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Santiago Rios was slow to take the kick. During this time Gastres FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Gastres FC's Cornelio Quiroga to a score. 0-1 in the 7th minute. Salvador Lizer succeeded in the game's 11th minute to get real power on a long shot . Gastres FC's Lucas Cesaro hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 1-1! Amadeo Bertran kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After 17 played minutes Big Babousa got a freekick which was hit by Remigio Inocente. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Rios in the 18th minute of play forced Big Babousa's goalkeeper Camilo Santiago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raul Fresco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 27 minutes into the match, Big Babousa's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Baladi came free, but Camilo Santiago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, Santiago Rios hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Cosme Mel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Big Babousa's supporters rose to their feet, but Cosme Mel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucas Cesaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aurelio Baladi in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Camilo Santiago prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Big Babousa getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Benito Franco hit a great ball. Raul Fresco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Santiago having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Big Babousa's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Baladi came free, but Camilo Santiago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Pascual Emenon notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Big Babousa's Camilo Santiago. Camilo Santiago was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cosme Mel to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Cosme Mel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute, Amadeo Bertran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Big Babousa fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when Big Babousa's Cosme Mel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Big Babousa's Cosme Mel in 66 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Lucas Cesaro guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Salvador Lizer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Santiago Rios fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gastres FC's protests and gave Santiago Rios a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in Gastres FC's zone, Salvador Lizer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucas Cesaro came out of the goal and Salvador Lizer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 73 minutes into the game, Gastres FC's Raul Fresco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Camilo Santiago made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. Lucas Cesaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Tallia in the 76th minute of play. After 77 minutes, Rodrigo Mon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gastres FC and the Big Babousa players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rodrigo Mon kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Amadeo Bertran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aurelio Baladi got free with Camilo Santiago in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 80th minute, Gastres FC's Aurelio Baladi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-5. In the 82nd minute, Gaspar Rainerio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Camilo Santiago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raul Fresco, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Big Babousa fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 86th minute. Penalty! Gastres FC were furious when Mauro Tadzio was red carded, 94 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 94 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gastres FC! Lucas Cesaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cosme Mel in the 100th minute of the match. The Gastres FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Gastres FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
