Sherlock Holmes charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sherlock Holmes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 7 played minutes Snorlax FC got a freekick which was hit by Sherlock Holmes. Hermelando Irizar came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Alzaga FC's Placido Lia. But to his dismay, Placido Lia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Alzaga FC's Benedicto Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sherlock Holmes in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Placido Lia fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Hermelando Irizar, passed just outside the right post. Tor Viveros hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 23rd match minute, Snorlax FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by César Balladares to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Snorlax FC's Hermelando Irizar got control of the ball when Martin Indartsu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hermelando Irizar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martin Indartsu's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Hermelando Irizar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Placido Lia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hermelando Irizar was a little too slow when Martin Indartsu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 2-0. Hermelando Irizar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salvador Quirze, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute Placido Lia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermelando Irizar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hermelando Irizar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Salamon in the 39th minute of play. When Gilesindo Illescas fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Snorlax FC's protests and gave Gilesindo Illescas a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Snorlax FC's Gilesindo Illescas got a free kick in the 40th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Pedro Salamon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alzaga FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Salamon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hermelando Irizar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hermelando Irizar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salvador Quirze, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sherlock Holmes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hermelando Irizar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvador Quirze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute, Pedro Salamon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hermelando Irizar was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 69th minute Placido Lia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermelando Irizar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hermelando Irizar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Salvador Quirze went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Sherlock Holmes hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. When Placido Lia came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Alzaga FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Placido Lia couldn't finish the play. Salvador Quirze hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. A collision led to Snorlax FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Adam Nicoletti hit a great ball. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Snorlax FC's goalkeeper Hermelando Irizar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 88 minutes into the match, Snorlax FC's goal looked a bit too open when Placido Lia came free, but Hermelando Irizar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Snorlax FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
