Silver Play 2's Jonatan Mel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Silver Play 2 from getting a goal against them. If Ramon Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Maximiliano Naelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonatan Mel having to interfere. Silver Play 2's Jonatan Mel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Silver Play 2 from getting a goal against them. Luis Jakes's late challenge caught a Barrilete Cósmico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luis Jakes helped the player get up and apologised. Silver Play 2's Jonatan Mel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Naelio in the 10th minute of play. Sergio Baristo hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After having played for 18 minutes, Franco Muñoz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Silver Play 2's supporters crossed their fingers, but Franco Muñoz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ramon Garcia fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Silver Play 2's protests and gave Ramon Garcia a yellow card for diving instead. Ramon Garcia hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute, Maximiliano Naelio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonatan Mel. The goal made the score 1-0. Luis Jakes hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Franco Muñoz in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mario Olando saved Barrilete Cósmico from getting behind. After 38 minutes, Aristides Dalmau mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barrilete Cósmico and the Silver Play 2 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 38th minute, Aristides Dalmau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Franco Muñoz was the one to do the kick off. If Leo Arce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernan Ireno hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. 56 minutes into the game, Franco Muñoz lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Mario Olando. In the 59th minute, Luis Jakes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Franco Muñoz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Olando having to interfere. When Franco Muñoz came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Silver Play 2 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Franco Muñoz couldn't finish the play. In the 66th minute, Franco Muñoz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ramon Garcia struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Mario Olando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Silver Play 2. Emiliano Gerazan charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emiliano Gerazan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Silver Play 2 booed when Barrilete Cósmico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano Gerazan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonatan Mel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Naelio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Franco Muñoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luis Jakes struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Mario Olando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Silver Play 2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Franco Muñoz during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Silver Play 2's Franco Muñoz got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Silver Play 2's Franco Muñoz got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mario Olando made an important save on a dangerous shot by Franco Muñoz in the 87th minute. Tadeo Macias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristides Dalmau in the 95th minute of play forced Silver Play 2's goalkeeper Jonatan Mel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silver Play 2's Jonatan Mel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Dalmau in the 96th minute of play. Silver Play 2 were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
