The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, FC Dezassete's Silvestre Salazar got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 5th match minute, FC Dezassete was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herberto Lousada to maneuver through the defense. Norberto Melo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dumitru Opincaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucrețiu Nicodim blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Norberto Melo having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basarab Zburliş in the 13th minute of play forced FC Dezassete's goalkeeper Norberto Melo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute, Basarab Zburliş left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DINAMO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 19th minute Basarab Zburliş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norberto Melo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Dezassete's Norberto Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basarab Zburliş in the 21st minute of play. In the 21stth minute of the game Dumitru Opincaru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Dezassete's Norberto Melo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 23 minutes into the game, Vivaldo Caneira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Dezassete's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DINAMO the free kick. After a rather tough play, FC Dezassete's Vivaldo Caneira got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Norberto Melo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dumitru Opincaru in the 28th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Valentim Carmona made a precise shot to the right of Eugen Jupân. DINAMO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 36th minute Dumitru Opincaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norberto Melo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute, Basarab Zburliş left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DINAMO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Valentim Carmona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dumitru Opincaru stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as DINAMO's Basarab Zburliş slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Norberto Melo. That made the score 1-4 after 52 minutes of play. Norberto Melo made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Dumitru Opincaru sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to FC Dezassete getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Hermano Sales hit a great ball. In the 61st match minute, FC Dezassete was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvestre Salazar to maneuver through the defense. Norberto Melo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Basarab Zburliş went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valentim Carmona in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eugen Jupân saved DINAMO from getting behind. The supporters of DINAMO booed when FC Dezassete was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvestre Salazar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Dezassete's Silvestre Salazar got a free kick in the 76th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dumitru Opincaru in the 86th minute of play forced FC Dezassete's goalkeeper Norberto Melo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 87 played minutes DINAMO got a freekick which was hit by Ryszard Borcz. After 90 played minutes DINAMO got a freekick which was hit by Dorin Agârbiceanu. Norberto Melo came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by DINAMO's Lucrețiu Nicodim. But to his dismay, Lucrețiu Nicodim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. The FC Dezassete fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. DINAMO were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
