Pär Are showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roque Pero, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. With a little luck, Trinchera FC's Herminio Roderigo got control of the ball when Anfilogino Preda tried to sneak it across the goal line. Herminio Roderigo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anfilogino Preda's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Pär Are made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Generoso Frances in the 17th minute of play. With his leg Herminio Roderigo managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Montechiarugolo AFC's Anfilogino Preda fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 28th minute Roque Pero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pär Are saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfredo Zuccarini kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. When Daniele Bevilacqua came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Montechiarugolo AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniele Bevilacqua couldn't finish the play. If Anfilogino Preda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Herminio Roderigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fedele Testi in the 69th minute of the match. Herminio Roderigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fedele Marinetti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute Eloy Dimas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pär Are saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Trinchera FC's Herminio Roderigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cacá 赵云乐 in the 81st minute of play. But to his dismay, Alfredo Quattrocchi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 92 played minutes Trinchera FC got a freekick which was hit by Prudencio Matxin. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniele Bevilacqua in the 93rd minute of play forced Trinchera FC's goalkeeper Herminio Roderigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
