Artur Kissel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerom Smoors having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Kryspin Pisarczyk made a precise shot to the right of Jerom Smoors. SK Mons's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Nechifor Măcrineanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerom Smoors having to interfere. Trevor Eubank who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Sylwester Domeradzki when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trevor Eubank in the 26th minute of play forced Wiktoria Zajafka's goalkeeper Sylwester Domeradzki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bogumil Czapski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Sylwester Domeradzki made a huge save. Sylwester Domeradzki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Trevor Eubank, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martin Žiška in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jerom Smoors prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 39th minute Wiktoria Zajafka were awarded a corner. Radomir Paprotny went to the cornerflag to take it. Remzi Nuri kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Wiktoria Zajafka defense, Bogumil Czapski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sylwester Domeradzki. The Wiktoria Zajafka fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sylwester Domeradzki should have stopped the shot. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Steven Puttemans was the one to do the kick off. In the 51stth minute of the game Trevor Eubank who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wiktoria Zajafka's Sylwester Domeradzki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 54 minutes into the match, SK Mons's goal looked a bit too open when Antoni Drebit came free, but Jerom Smoors reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute of the match, Martin Žiška tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jerom Smoors saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. SK Mons's Luka Van Aken was substituted for Julien Pulix. SK Mons made a substitution. Tony Degraef replaced Kong Sen Chen. Wiktoria Zajafka were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after SK Mons's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Radomir Paprotny took the corner. In the 93rd minute of the match Remzi Nuri sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sylwester Domeradzki skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of SK Mons booed when Wiktoria Zajafka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antoni Drebit didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded Wiktoria Zajafka left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than SK Mons.
