In the 20th minute Guillermo Barros-Schelloto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herminio Roderigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Guillermo Barros-Schelloto came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the El Stradivarius fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guillermo Barros-Schelloto couldn't finish the play. Herminio Roderigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillermo Barros-Schelloto in the 23rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Trinchera FC's zone, Gabriel Pello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herminio Roderigo came out of the goal and Gabriel Pello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Herminio Roderigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jedrzej Galus, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. A collision led to El Stradivarius getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Eugenio Saturnin hit a great ball. Herminio Roderigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guillermo Barros-Schelloto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 0-1 became the score in the 35th minute when Eloy Dimas elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Eloy Dimas took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gavino Theobald. Gavino Theobald dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Herminio Roderigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jedrzej Galus, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. When El Stradivarius's Jedrzej Galus in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Trinchera FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 44th minute of the match, Jedrzej Galus tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Herminio Roderigo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guillermo Barros-Schelloto made a kick off. Herminio Roderigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guillermo Barros-Schelloto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guillermo Barros-Schelloto in the 55th minute of play forced Trinchera FC's goalkeeper Herminio Roderigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guillermo Barros-Schelloto in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Herminio Roderigo saved Trinchera FC from getting behind. Guillermo Barros-Schelloto was slow to take the kick. During this time El Stradivarius's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Guillermo Barros-Schelloto got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Herminio Roderigo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabriel Pello in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herminio Roderigo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 76 minutes of play, El Stradivarius's Guillermo Barros-Schelloto made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Herminio Roderigo was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Jedrzej Galus in the 78th minute of play forced Trinchera FC's goalkeeper Herminio Roderigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
