Neron Companys fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivar Albohm having to interfere. After having played for 24 minutes, Neron Companys managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Neron Companys in the 31st minute of play forced Strömsbro IF's goalkeeper Ivar Albohm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 32 played minutes Strömsbro IF got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Lövkvist. In the 39th minute Roben Reyes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivar Albohm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute, Sune Tunström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After a rather tough play, Salud y República's Adulfo Teresa got a free kick in the 77th minute. 82 minutes into the game, Roben Reyes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
